Corporate Protection & Investigative Services (CPIS) is a private security and investigations company serving clients across Ontario. We support residential communities, property managers, businesses, productions, events and other organizations with security personnel, patrol and response, investigations, monitoring and security technology.
Our operating principles
- Prevention before escalation. Visible presence, communication, observation and early intervention are central to the way we work.
- De-escalation and judgment. Personnel are trained to use communication and proportionate response appropriate to the situation and their legal authority.
- Training matters. Site orientation, life-safety awareness, report writing, practical skills and ongoing development are treated as core operational requirements.
- Service matters. Especially in residential and concierge environments, security personnel are part of the daily client and resident experience.
- Documentation matters. Incident reporting, daily activity reporting, escalation and supervisory review support accountability.
Private security — clearly defined
CPIS provides private security and investigative services. Our personnel do not represent a police service or government agency. Where separate partner-agency parking or municipal by-law services are offered through CPIS Enforcement Services, the authority applicable to that assignment is clearly identified.
